MONICA’S ‘NEW LIFE’ ALBUM PUSHED BACK

Monica new material as not sparked much enthusiasm for the singers new project which as forced the singer and her record label to postpone the project. Monica took to twitter to make the announcement to the her fans. She also reassured them that the album was been restructured and not redone.Various rumors have been floating around that Mo is expecting her first child with husband Shannon Brown. Monica as two boys from a previous relationship and Shannon as a daughter also from a previous relationship.

Monica’s new album will reportedly be released in February of 2012. Missy Elliott and Jazmine Sullivan have reprtedly already contributed to the album.No word yet on if their material will be included in the  “restructure’ album.

Monica ‘Anything (To Find You)’ Music Video

Music Industry veteran Monica released the visuals for her new single ‘Anything’ from her upcoming studio album ‘New Life’. The song samples Biggie’s ‘Who Shot Ya’, and features Rick Ross. The original song features verses from one time hip hop heavy weight Lil Kim, but because of a protest by Miss Wallace (Biggie’s Mom), the rappers vocal had to be stripped from the song.

The music video is simply and the images are crisp. It takes us back to the days when spandex was in season and rappers like Rahkim and Run DMC wore roped gold chains. What is undeniable is the fact that Monica looks happy.

Monica just gave fans a glimpse of what they can expect from her upcoming music video ‘ Anything’ which features hip hop heavyweight Rick Ross. The music video is directed by Chris Robinson along time collaborator of Monica’s. The video is 90s inspired and showcase Monica’s softer side. Monica looks glamorous in the clips.The new albums is expected to be a reflection of the changes Monica as experienced in last year. The music video will premiere on BET and Vevo on September 12th ,2011
